Number of stackers in the tunnel

1.One lane is equipped with a stacker crane. By adopting this layout, the effective area utilization of the vertical warehouse is maximized.

2. Multiple lanes are equipped with one stacker crane. Special conversion tunnel for stacker crane is needed. This configuration will be better option when efficiency requirements are not high and there are no many storage spaces.

3.Two stacker cranes in one tunnel. Cost is high and it occupies a large amount of effective area. Requring two sets of facilities for managing products or a parking space for a stacker .

   Two modes of loading and unloading

1. One side put in; the other side get out. If the entrance and exit are located at both ends, the work efficiency will be high. However, pickup and storage facilities need to be installed on both sides, which takes up a large area.

2. Enter and exit the warehouse on the same side. The area occupied by the equipment can be reduced, but a certain amount of work will occur simultaneously. Enterprises often need to focus on warehousing operations of setting goods in for a period of time, and then plan operations of getting products out for another period of time.
